Taken at Hell's Half Acre outside of Casper, WY. Some of you may know the area from Starship Troopers, where is served as the bug-infested battleground:
Not bad for a recovery job, eh? The setting is owned by the state but is privately leased. It used to have a bustling restaurant and gift shop until a few years ago. The ruins of the building contain nothing but bullet holes and broken glass, ghosts of a vibrant economy and an enterprising family. Currently, the entire site sits fallow, the desert slowly eroding away memories and campsites and stone foundations into the Wyoming plains.
